What should I do if you were unable to retrieve my credit report?

There are a few reasons why we may have been unable to retrieve your credit report. 

  • There may have been errors or mistakes in your name, address, or date of birth. We use this information to request the report from third parties.
  • If you have placed a fraud alert or freeze on your credit report in the past, this restricts access. Please contact us after unfreezing your Transunion, Experian, and/or Equifax report by emailing support@upstart.com
  • If you believe there are no errors and you haven't placed any alerts or freezes, we recommend contacting the credit reporting agency directly to resolve any issues. Email us at support@upstart.com when a resolution is found and you’re ready to proceed with your application.
